I read and watch very little macro stuff, but David Rosenberg is the exception. He’s more of a forensic Economist. He looks forward instead of the rear view mirror. At 27:00 minutes he tells exactly what the Fed is doing in laymen terms.
Usually it takes years to get such a high level on rate increase!
Some money tightening with that?
He also proves that the retailers really did price gauging during the crisis screwing consumers and riding the inflation narrative. But now the consumer is bucking down and stopped buying.
Anyway, take a drink and enjoy his presentation.

I you have never seen: WTF Happen in 1971, I recommend you take a look. The currency devaluation that occurred since is now coincidence. They create booms and bust on purpose and it all started when the Fed was created and the government were allowed to make deficit which were illegal back before the Fed. And the Federal Reserve is a private corporation owned by rich families. They make the monetary policy of countries and create currency out of thin air without any oversight.
